Dr Yanhui FengDr Yanhui Feng is a specialist and expert in condition monitoring and reliability analysis of rotating machinery. Being an experienced researcher, he is involved with various industrial projects in UK and EU. Dr Feng has trained over 160 engineers and consultants from the EU in Wind Energy and Condition Monitoring over the years.Dr Feng holds a degree in Control Engineering and a second in Business Administration. He obtained his PhD in Signal Processing and Condition Monitoring from the University of Leicester, UK, in 2008, and the Certificate in Technology of Offshore Wind Energy Course from Delft University of Technology, Netherland, in 2010. Dr Feng was part of the UK EPSRC project 'Fault Prediction in quasi-steady state rotating machines' and collaborated with BOC-Edward. Dr Feng currently is a Research Associate at Durham University, UK. He collaborates closely with numerous wind industry partners such as Gamesa, Alstom, ABB, Hansen Transmissions, LM Wind Power, SKF, GL Garrad Hassan, Clipper Wind, NaREC, SEWind and Mitsubishi, to name some, on wind energy projects such as Reliawind, a prestigious European Commission 7th Framework Programme large scale R&D project. Dr Feng has been invited by ICE to publish the review of early operation of UK round 1 offshore wind farms.
