Synopsis

This course will provide a significant addition to the Environmental Auditor's professional development requirements. The ISO14001 course enhances the internal auditorâ€™s knowledge through a 2 day training program. The course provides interactive discussions, examination of information and utilisation of tools that enhance the participant's auditing knowledge.

At the end of this course, the participants should be able to:

Understand all clauses of ISO 14001 and its requirements
Prepare process approach audit checklist
Coordinate an audit team and related duties
Plan and perform audits, including conducting follow up from the audit findings

Who should attend

This course is suited for internal auditors, prospective internal auditors, audit managers and consultants undertaking environmental audits for clients.

Prerequisite

Participants are required to have basic understanding of ISO 14001.

Course methodology

This course is presented in a lecture using Powerpoint presentation. Handouts will be prepared for each participant. The course includes group exercise and a quiz at the end of the course.
