Synopsis

To equip top management and steering committee with knowledge on environmental legislation in Malaysia with particular attention to the provision of Environmental Quality Act 1974 and the subsidiary legislation.

Gain knowledge on the applicable legal and other requirements
Know the applicable legal and other requirements and how to apply in their organization
Gain knowledge on how to evaluate compliance with the applicable legal and other requirements

This course is suited for top management executives, steering committee and personnel in charge of environmental legal requirements and liaison with authority e.g. Department of Environment.

Prerequisite

Participants are required to have basic understanding of ISO 14001.
